Core Tribe member, Magdalena “Maggie” Steele, is a rare breed of videographer and athlete. After graduating from Western State Colorado University with a Degree in Sport and Fitness Management with a minor in Film, Maggie pursued a career in film in Hawai’i. In this week’s pod we learn about Maggie’s first project documenting the protest of development of the Sherwood Forest on the island of Oahu, Hawai’i. We delve into her aspirations of documenting her trek to Mt Everest’s Base Camp as well as her new found sport of Ultra Running. Carter lost his lung and his right leg and all his toes, but still remains hopeful and motivated to surf again. In December of 2020, Cam ran 170 miles in 6 days, completing the perimeter of Maui, Hawai’i in dedication to his cousin who has autism.
